I learned later of Kathy's death. The news brought me great sadness. She and I lived on the same dorm floor at ISU. She was a good friend and an inspiration. I am sad that she is no longer with us but thankful for her strong faith in Christ. Rest In Peace Kathy.

I did not know Kathy personally, but I knew her through Michele. I followed her cancer journey with Michele. I want to express my condolences to this special family!! Prayers were offered on behalf of Kathy and her family. This is the beginning!! Celebrate life here and celebrate life after death! Blessings to all.

Dear Michelle: It was not until today 8/8/10 that I learned of your sister's passing. I had been thinking of Kathy lately and was hoping that I could find her on facebook. It is then that I learned of her passing by a memorial website you have. I do not know the details but you have my have my deepest symphaty. She was a bright light. I'm not sure you will remember me but I roomed with Kathy one year at ISU. I lived near Princeton right after I graduated from ISU. I still teach at Princeton High School. Kathy was a very special person and you are right about her faith in God. I hope somehow this message can make it's way to you Michelle as I know you must miss here greatly. Even though Kathy and I drifted as we went different directions from ISU, she has always been a great memory and holds a specail place in my heart. Dear Michele, I don't know if you remember me or not. I first met Kathy in kindergarten at St. Al's. She was my first BFF. We later crossed paths, reconnected and became roommates at ISU for the last two years of college. I was shocked to have very recently found out Kathy had passed away. I currently live in Chatham, Illinois, and somehow don't know how I couldn't have known about her death. Through Facebook and in contacting old college friends, someone mentioned they heard of her passing. I was indeed shocked and feel terrible that I was not there to pay my respects. Please inform me on the cause of her death and anything else you would like to share. I would so appreciate it. I will always treasure the times Kathy and I had together riding back and forth to school in Gridley. She was so full of fun and laughter and energy. That is what I will look forward to when I see her in Heaven.

Michele, Please accept my condolences on your loss of Kathy. I had the pleasure of meeting her and knowing her in 2000-2001. I was thinking of how she was doing and was heartbroken to find out that she had passed and I had no idea that she was ill. I am truly sorry and so sad to find this out.
