There is a single thought that carries me through the loss of my father, and that is that he would not for one moment want any of his children to be sad. He only and always wanted our happiness and success in whatever it was we chose to do. I will treat each day as a gift, because that is what he taught me. He taught me about God and walked me through my sacraments in order that I would have a close relationship with God. My father was a gentlemen in every sense of the word, and a more perfect example of a loving Christian cannot be found than in Francis Paul Longhi. I am honored to be his daughter. Loretta, I love you. You were his guardian angel here on earth. Know that I am here for you always.

Both Jane and I both agree it was always a delight being in the company of Fran, he was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor. I know that because he always laughed at my jokes, he either found them funny or was the type of person who never wanted to hurt anyones feelings. He will surely be missed. Jane keeps reminding me of the times we all played cards at her mom and dads, when I sat next to Fran and constanly would nudge his shoulder with my hand all in good fun, while Jane kept complaing your going to give him a bruise on his arm. Fran would just laughed it off and said its alright. Fran I know will be missed by all who he touched and especially missed by Lorretta. they had a wonderful life together and each always showed their love for each other.
